Here is a lightly and lovingly used Tisas Model of 1911 A1 US Army, their closest copy of an issue 1943-1945 Remington Rand from World War II. Walnut grips (and a spare pair of brown plastic), Type E hammer, arched mainspring housing Type 5 with 8 ribs, lanyard loop, and "United States Property" marked. Lovely crisp trigger. Comes with two seven-round magazines, takedown tool and cleaning brush in a lockable case. There are less expensive Tisas 1911s but none comes this close to an authentic copy of the issue sidearm. Tisas is also making this model for sale by the CMP, and as usual, forged frame and slide and no MIM parts.
Also included is an accurate replica M3 leather shoulder holster from What Price Glory. It is made of quality leather, well formed and stitched and fitted with a genuine Lift-The-Dot snap. It's a surprisingly comfortable rig -- but you may need to extend the chest strap if you are larger around the middle than the average WWII GI as it is made to original specs. Asking $425 FTF here in west central TX. I can have my FFL ship to your FFL for an additional $45 -- $20 for him to run it through his license and $25 for shipping to your dealer.
