If I were to have to choose one gun, this would be the one; it has taken big moose, big elk, kudu, elan, dozens of whitetails and more others than I can mention here.The gun has been kept in excellent condition and shoots sub-MOA groups (at 100 yards) using Barnes 210 or 225 grain TSX - BT bullets and will accurately reach out to 500 yards with a lot of retained energy. The gun is topped with a Leupold 3.5 X 10 fine duplex scope. The gun has amazingly light felt recoil for a gun of this caliber due to the straight stock and the Briley muzzle brake; in a hunting situation I can't tell any difference from my 308. The barrel is 22"
