Springfield M1, excellent wood and metal, serial number puts it manufactured 1941 between March and April. I bought a collection from a son last year and this was part of the Garands. The others had certificates showing them as CMP special grade and were all bought during a similar time frame mid 2000s. This one has a CMP stock and wood/metal that looks the same as the others but has no certificate. Looks like Springfield bolt with some mixed internals, barrel is commercial, only marking I can find is 1981, has NM front sight and son said his father shot this one in local matches. Came with 200+ rounds in a can the father loaded from his fired LC brass. Pulled samples and weighed, looks like IMR 4064 to me over 150gr SP with cannelure and is in spec for starting load. Shot some and is a mild load ejecting 3-4 feet out and 1 behind, fired brass included in can. That being said, selling with rifle as components. Selling because the others were unfired and those are the ones I was after.
